Back to life for good!

Hey there!
Long time not seen! It has been more than two years since I wrote my last post. At that time, I was facing new life conditions in Japan and felt there was no time left for blogging. I am still too busy, but sometimes I feel I miss writing in this, my little window to the world.

I have changed the blog address for a change. Now, it is kita1010.blogspot.com. You will probably wonder what is that?! Well, that is the place where I live! Kitasenju, in Adachi-ku, Tokyo. Senju has the same reading in Japanese as the number 1010 and therefore, it is often shortened. Kita just means North. Adachi-ku is famous for being the most dangerous place in Tokyo, but believe me, this is way safer than any place in Europe or the USA! not kidding!

So from now on, I will continue writing in this blog from time to time. What will I talk about? Well, the usual stuff... but now, I will probably focus in my trips and life in Japan. There are so many cool things going on around here. And I have being in so many cool places in the last two years!
My current map of visited countries is this one:

So I have visited 61countries and I have not told you about it... I will try to be not so boring and will post many photos :)

Well, this is probably enough for starters. I hope this time I can really manage to post updates often! See you soon!

My current map of visited countries

After my honeymoon, my Xmas in Spain (and Tunisia and Andorra), and my trip to Peru and Bolivia, I have reached the figure of 46 visited countries! About to get to 50!! Although that may take some time, since I will soon start working and my holidays will shrink noticeably... This map shows those countries in the map:

My current map of visited countries

So far, 37 countries in 4 continents... but I haven't been to the Southern Hemisphere yet...

This year, I only have a planned trip to South Korea in September. The rest of my traveling plans, unknown... although, I think I will go to Canada at some point too!

If possible, I will try to go to:
1. Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia
2. Central America
3. Peru

My visited countries

These last days, I finally wrapped up all my travelling plans until 12th May. I already told you I was going to go to several countries in the coming months. My additional destinations will be:
- Copenhagen
- Vienna
- Budapest
- London (for sure this time I will bring my camera along...)
- Krakow

I also thought this was a good moment to check how many countries I have visited so far. The answer is 17, in 3 different continents. However, most of these countries are in Europe... I have to start expanding my destinations to more exotic places ;-) This is my visited places map so far:

I also wanted to compare it to what it will look like on 12th May. The answer is most of the "white spots" in Europe will turn blue and I will visit most of the countries in Central Europe. By then I will have visited 24 different countries, in 4 continents.

I still have some months to travel around before I move to another continent (America or Asia) for my PhD studies. Some possible destinations are Athens in Greece, Istambul in Turkey or the Norwegian Fiords (to complete Scandinavia). After that, it will be the right moment to leave Europe and start travelling in another continent.

By the way, this is my post number 150th!
